Cousins

Since we moved here, Emmett has had a fabulous time with all of his cousins. He, Alex, and Avery have a very special connection. Perhaps because they are all the same age? Whatever it is, I am thankful for their friendship. Whenever Avery and Alex come to visit, they all three head upstairs to work on projects. Usually they will call down to me and ask how to spell something, almost always names of people in our family. And sometimes they will call down and ask what a random collection of letters spell. You really can't get much cuter than this!

We had a great time wandering up and down the Hoefer's neighborhood. We only made it about an hour because it got cold, fast! But Emmett managed to collect a sizeable amount of candy. It was a super fun night!

Friendly Neighborhood Spiderman

One of Emmett's favorite characters is Spiderman. He watches the old, old cartoons on Netflix and loves the movies also. So, when we found the Spiderman costume, it was a no-brainer that we would get it for him. (Actually, Brent's mom got it for him when they were here for their last visit!) I knew Halloween would be a busy day and I didn't want to make him pose for pictures. So, on Sunday afternoon we took advantage of the beautiful weather and headed out. He had a fabulous time acting like Spiderman!
